Some short quick answers, but I think as long as we actually compost biodegradable items instead of chucking them in the landfill, then they will actually decompose and be used proactively. I feel that biodegradable items give people a false sense of “it won’t hurt if I put this in the landfill,” but they do. What do you think? Do you think biodegradable ware gives people a reason to slack?

I think this is an excellent example of how to decide what to buy at the store in terms of packaging and health. Usually convenience and single portion items are the worst. But some items, like canned ingredients, we forget to ask ourselves “Is there a better way to purchase this?” What examples can you give about changing the way you purchase food in the store?
